Everything was perfect. We had a newly renovated studio with view of the ocean and Mauna Kea. Any issues we had were quickly resolved by HGV staff. The grounds are well maintained and the sunset view every night is amazing. Overall a very positive experience for my first use of my HGVC membership. I highly recommend this property. But keep in mind this is a large resort property. You can get around on the tram or canal boats but you should not be in a hurry. Just relax and enjoy. Thanks for a great vacation HGV!!

I paid for an upscale ocean front room & was given a garden view/partial ocean. I asked to be moved & they said the hotel was FULL. All the furniture had a layer of dirt/dust & I had to wipe everything down. The only food that was available was awful Italian/pizza$75!! After we checked out the hotel charged me for ANOTHER night stay & charged me twice for parking. I was able to reconcile with my bank to have the charges taken off. My friend forgot his nice dress shirt in the closet, drove 30 miles back to the hotelhowever the shirt was never found. Hilton Grand Vacations Club Waikoloa is a Grand Vacation Rip-Off!!

Beautiful Property Stay Away
The property itself was absolutely stunning. Thats about the only good thing I can say. It took over an hour after we arrived to get the keys for our rooms. We stood in line for 20 minutes at the lobby check-in desk, only to be told that we would have to go to a different check in desk to actually check in. Doing so required us to wait another 20 minutes for a ridiculously slow tram, that then took 15 minutes to take us about 500 yards so we could get in another line to check in. The rooms reeked of mildew and looked like they had not been renovated since 1979. Several restaurants were closed during what should have been normal business hours. The tram is absolutely the most ridiculous and inefficient part of this whole stay. It should not take 30-40 minutes to get from my room to my car! As beautiful as the property was, I wont ever stay here again. More
