New Holiday Inn Oceanfront Resort In Myrtle Beach Expected To Open In 2024
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – A new oceanfront resort is making its way to the Grand Strand.
Holiday Inn Club Vacations announced Thursday that it has purchased 16 acres of undeveloped land to build the new resort. It will be located across the street from the companys already-existing resort located off South Kings Highway near the Myrtle Beach International Airport.
Its good to have a new projects and new feature every so often that way our returning visitors have something new to try, said Mark Kruea.
The resort is expected to open in 2024 and will feature 152 one-to-four bedroom villas ranging in size from 746-1,900 square feet. The villas will also include patios with ocean views – with a portion designated for luxury options.
The company also provided an artists rendering of the exterior to WMBF News, clarifying that it is subject to change.

All the growth has Helen Bowden concerned about the increased traffic along Springmaid Blvd.
It says 35mph but people speed through all the time, said Bowden.

South Beach Resort is located on sixteen beautifully landscaped acres near Myrtle Beach. Amenities include a 13,990 square foot Owners Club offering indoor and outdoor pools, a lazy river, a fitness center, a children’s video room, and mens and womens locker rooms with saunas. A business center, a sundries shop and a deli that will provide breakfast and lunch are also available. Resort owners and guests will have direct access to the oceanfront via Breezes Beach Club, with its swimming pool, spas, and dining opportunities.
Each unit at South Beach Resort offers a fireplace, a TV and DVD player, and a private screened porch.
For the golfer in the family, nearby courses include Myrtlewood, Arcadian Shores, Pine Lakes, Grande Dunes and Tidewater. There is even a par three course on the property.
Renovation Information: Renovations will take place through spring of 2017 to enhance the water features in the main pool area. The Tri Spa will be closed during this time. Additionally, the indoor pool is scheduled to be renovated from February 6th to February 20th.
