Murrays Mill Historic District
A short drive from town, you can experience the history of this area firsthand at Murrays Mill. This milling complex from the late 19th century has been preserved and converted into a historical site. Since the mill closed operations in 1967, the mill, a general store, a period-preserved home, and a wheat house are now used as an exhibition of the regions agricultural past.

This home has it all! Amazing view of Lake Norman. The open floor plan is perfect for larger groups. The teens loved the downstairs game room while the adults gathered upstairs to watch a football game on the VERY large screen television. The dining room table and benches were great for us all to play card games. This home is very well furnished and maintained. The kitchen is well stocked and VERY organized. Most of the bedrooms have a view of the lake. A big plus was the large driveway with parking for at least five cars. No having to move cars to let others out. We will definitely return.
