Winter Vacations For A Mix Of City And Country: London And Hampshire
If your winter vacations preferences err on the side of cozy, London, its surrounds and the Cotswolds are a top choice. We recommend holing up at an idyllic country estate like Heckfield Place, Belmond Le Manoir aux QuatSaisons or Cliveden House, or else your own private rental, where you will have plenty of time to make your way through The Holiday, Love Actually, Pride & Prejudice and perhaps even a Harry Potter marathon. Hot Springs National Park Arkansas
Known for its 47 thermal springs, Hot Springs National Park boast a unique mix of geologic structure and water sources that produce the highest quality non-volcanic geothermal springs in the United States.
Some people are unaware that hot springs are the perfect way to warm up in the winter, mainly because the bathhouses are indoors.
The whole Bathhouse Row area has been named a National Historic Landmark District since it houses North Americas largest collection of bathhouses, including several remarkable examples of Gilded Age architecture.
It also features more than 30 miles of hiking trails through the stunning Ouachita Mountains as well as scenic drives, hot water cascade, picnic areas and campsites at Gulpha Gorge Recreation Area & Campground.
The park includes portions of downtown Hot Springs, making it one of the most accessible national parks.
Bora Bora French Polynesia
Bora Bora is an island paradise isolated from much of the world, in the middle of the South Pacific ocean.

Rising Travel Costs & Inflation
Data tracking American travelers sense of financial well-being continues to show mixed signals. Comparing the first quarter of 2022 to the most recent one, the proportion of travelers who feel they are financially better off than at this point last year has dropped from 33.6% to 31.0%. On the other hand, optimism remains high. The proportion of travelers who feel they will be better off next year has grown slightly from 42.8% to 43.4%, quarter over quarter. Unfortunately, however, the proportion of travelers who reported that now is a good time to spend money on leisure travel has dropped significantly. In the first quarter of the year, 39.2% said they felt it was a good or very good time to spend on leisure travel. This figure dropped to 32.6% in the second quarter. Half of American travelers say high travel prices have kept them from traveling in the past month, jumping nearly 8-points in the last four-weeks. In addition, well over one-third agree that recent inflation in consumer prices has caused them to cancel an upcoming tripa 6-point increase in the last month.
Nevertheless, leisure travel continues to be a high budget priority for American travelers. In June, 61.8% of travelers said leisure travel was for them a high or extremely high budgetary item. This figure has remained stable over the first six months of 2022. Maximum expected annual travel budgets grew in June, reaching an average of $4,345, an increase of 10.5% from May.

Be Up To Date On Vaccines
Vaccines cut the risk of severe illness and provide some protection against transmission, even against these more transmissible variants, and anyone looking to travel should be vaccinated, experts say.
Infectious disease expert Dr. Brian Conway told CTVNews.ca in a phone interview last week that anyone eligible for a fourth shot should attempt to get one before embarking on a big trip.
If you haven’t had three shots, don’t travel, he said.
In Quinns opinion, a fourth dose might not be necessary right away, but certainly the three doses have proven to be very effective at reducing transmission and severe illness. And our rates of third doses in Ontario and in Canada, we still have room for improvement.
