Check In Here Was Terrible
Check in here was terrible. It was supposed to be available at 4, but it wasn’t I was told to come back in an hour. I did, and still couldn’t ck in. I tried again and again, but couldn’t ck in until after 7 pm! The room was good. Ice wasn’t available, as they only had 1 machine that had been over used. There was only 1 person to staff the place. When I asked to see the manager, I was told to go to another property to see him/her. It was a terrible experience for what could have been a nice stay. Afterwards I was billed $9.99 for something, but I have no idea what it was for. There wasn’t anything to buy there!

Head to Steamboat for a winter vacation you wont soon forget. The area is perfect for skiing, snowboarding, and sledding, in addition to a plethora of other activities that bring you in close proximity to the snow. You can also try unique activities such as dog sledding and ice fishing for something new, interesting, and fun. In warmer months, try hiking, biking, and golfing in the area.

Steamboat Is A Great Town In The Summer
Steamboat is a great town in the summer. Lush greenery and pleasant temperatures . Its a small town with many awesome outdoor activities , shopping and restaurant’s. The Lime and Salt Mexican restaurant was superb with a great margarita ! After lunch we went on a E-Bike ride on some of Steamboats bike / walking trails . These trails criss cross the town and go along the river for its whole length . You can ride you bikes from your hotel to the downtown area in a few minutes of an easy ride. Some live out door entertainment and great food and drink all over the town. There is the shopping at the resorts near the Gondola lift and chair lifts . We took the chair lift to the mid mountain point where there was a good Taco trailer and awesome views of the town and surrounding country . I suggest taking advantage of the package deal of the Mountain downhill racer Cart’s , some putt putt golf and chair lift ride up the mountain makes a good day . There are actual Hot Springs in the town but we went to the Strawberry Hot springs pools that were a little ways out of Steamboat a few miles . Nice facilities and varying temperature pools to choose from … but make sure to make reservations for pool access times . Summer is great in Steamboat Springs so I can’t wait to go back for winter and the Ski season

As recommended by the CDC, Owners and guests are encouraged to wear a face covering indoors, regardless of vaccination status, in areas the CDC defines as substantial or high for COVID-19 transmission. This recommendation is in addition to any applicable face covering requirements mandated by governmental authorities in the jurisdictions where our resorts operate.
Please refer to your resorts Property Update page for specific information regarding local government mandates that may currently be in place.
Face coverings are required for all unvaccinated Owners and guests at each of our resorts. Shared spaces where face coverings must be worn by unvaccinated Owners and guests include the following:
- Indoor public spaces and common areas
- Lobbies
- Food & Beverage outlets, including pool bars, Marketplaces, and other similar venues
- Fitness centers
- Outdoor public spaces where social distance of 6ft/2m cannot be maintained

Steamboat Springs Is A Fun Little Colorado Mtn
Steamboat Springs is a fun little Colorado Mtn. town with a visit in Winter and Summer. It’s not Aspen or Vail but not everyone wants Aspen or Vail:-) Its a little lower end and less uppity… more of a Western Town… lol… a lot fewer private jets at the airport:-)Summer: Fishing, hiking, golf, etc. Winter: Skiing – Note, Steamboat Springs is not a “advanced ski Mtn.”… I liken it more to Snowmass. Very family friendly… If you are you looking for a challenging Mtn. this is not it… stick to Snowbird, Whistler, Jackson Hole Alta, etc etc.. But if you ski 1-2 weeks a year and are bringing the family, Steamboat Springs is great.
