“The view from this house is unparalled! We love to sit in the front room & gaze at the ocean. The pathway down to the beach is not far & the kids loved playing in the sand & visiting tide pools a bit farther north. Some things about the house are awkward, such as the only ground floor bedroom has bunk beds — a queen would be much preferred. No place to wash sandy feet outside the front door or garage, so had to track it in. Hot tub was not very clean, but the kids enjoyed it anyway. It’s great to be able to take our dogs. “

“We had a great time at the House. Unfortunately it was a bit dank and musty smelling, especially downstairs. The floor was in need or professional carpet cleaning and mopping. My feet were black after walking around barefoot for a couple of hours. The shower downstairs needs serious attention as mold is growing in the grout. The microwave needs replacing. The 2 beds in the room upstairs need to be replaced, very uncomfortable. We couldnt figure out the WiFi the first day. Also everything wasnt working because it was unplugged! You need to let people know things are unplugged. You need to write the WiFi in the book. “

“Comfortable accommodations with a continually changing ocean beach view. Clean with good appliances, adequate linen, kitchenware, furniture.Some road noise in the bedrooms. With some pruning of overhead tree limbs, one could easily park a pickup camper or small motor home without scraping the top. Re-entering the hwy with traffic is tricky, especially if heading south. “

“Well, 2020 sure is a scrooge. We arrived during the outbreak of all of the fires including the one just outside Lincoln City. The day after our arrival they evacuated LC. We didn’t lose power and we called VRBO in case we need to leave due to my wife having severe asthma. They said if we chose to leave they would credit us the balance of unused days. We decided to stick it out. The next day the wind and weather changed and pushed the smoke inland, but it was replaced by dense fog that stayed throughout the rest of our trip. We stuck out the rest of our stay and made the most out of it. The vacation home itself was awesome. As noted by others it is an older home and some things are dated, but nothing an informed vacationer can’t get past if they review the pictures and read the reviews. In the end it was a much needed diversion from the craziness of this year.”

“The house was as advertised. A perfectly equipped 3 bed, 2 bath house. Clean and well used with all the things you would need for a group to be comfortable. While it was a little disappointing not to be able to use the path to the beach that is directly in front of the house, it was not a huge inconvenience to head down the road just a bit. “We were Seven guests and the place was large enough we were not cramped. The views were great from the living room and the western bedrooms. Our guests had no complaints, but we had only one. The master bedroom’s mattress had been well used with a sunken center, making waking up a struggle. If you were to fix the issue, the condition would get a higher rating.”

“Our overall experience was wonderful. The home was very big and spacious for our large group. Having 4 full bathrooms is definitely a major plus to this home. The kitchen is well set up for groups, as in doesnt get crowded with 2-3 cooks. Loved the master suite, the hot tub and all the decks that offered a great view of the ocean. The one thing we found we were in need of was hooks. We had several small children who got their clothes quite wet and there was very limited space to hang them. Also, we had a difficult time figuring out the heat downstairs, while it wasnt a big problem, we never were quite able to figure out how to turn the heaters or or off. Also, the internet was difficult. It could have been that we had over 20 devices all competing for it, but you definitely had to be in one area of the house to guarantee you would get access. We really like being close to the beach and to Safeway. “
