How Has The Coronavirus Impacted Jamaica

In Spring 2020, Jamaica took steps to cut off international arrivals and significantly minimized exposure to the virus. On June 15, 2020, Jamaica reopened air travel. The country enacted strict measures to limit transmission through pre-travel testing and enforcement of a Resilient Corridor.

Jamaica saw a serious spike in cases due to the Delta variant in September 2021 where some hospitals were over capacity.
