When To Go To Central Europe

The Magic of Vienna, Budapest & Prague A Featured Staff ...

The best time to visit Budapest, Vienna, and Prague are during the spring and fall months. Weather is pleasant and tourist numbers are low. The weather is still very pleasant during the summer months but these cities can get very crowded. The winter months have bitterly cold temperatures and snow but very few tourists.

Looking for info on side tours using insight vacations as opposed to viatour

In Prague and Vienna we used no tour guide. In Budapest both in summer if 2012 and 2013 we used Andres Illes. You cab google him and contact him direct or you can find him on TA as well. He was good and will take any kind of pace you desire.

Thanks for your reply. Will chech him out.

We would like to consider this trip. If any one has taken this tour can you tell us about the excursions which Insight charges for separately.

Viatour is a booking/resale agency. They do not conduct any tours themselves. IMO you are better off dealing with a tour company directly rather than through a third party resaler like Viatour.
