DO NOT book with Vacation Express! I went to The Valentin at Riviera Maya through them and while I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this resort book it with Apple Vacations or some other provider. Their representative was NEVER onsite, I was promised a shopping trip to Playa Del Carmen that NEVER occurred and when I called them I was lied to and when I contacted the Travel Assistance via email they skirted the issue! Their customer service is THE WORST I have ever encountered!

Once you land at the airport you are to scan your QR code, once scanned you should be able to communicate with your representative through the QR code.You get the pick-up time, you can contact them anytime and ask questions about what you need. Horrible Company With No Regard To
Horrible company with no regard to their customers. After having to cancel my trip in Jan 2022 due to Covid and a two month battle to get accurate information about cancellation charges, I was forced to rebook with this awful company due to only getting credit. Trip was rebooked for end of Feb 2022. Traveled 9 hours to find out Vacation Express never booked my hotel. Stood in lobby for 3 hours. Called support and was hung up on after being told there was nothing they could do and other customers were waiting. Left me high and dry to fend for myself. Thankfully the hotel manager had pitty for me and my family and found us a room. Now 24 hours later and had to use my credit card to secure the rooms, still no word from despicable Vacation Express. Word to the wise, avoid this company at all cost. My booking number 2418178.

You should be able to leave no stars at all. I cant believe that my first time booking with a travel agency is going like this. My friend and are planned a trip to Jamaica for her birthday. Through a travel agent with Vacation Express, the plans were made. This woman was in contact with my friend throughout the entire process. A friend of ours looking to join us on vacation did some digging on the resort we were going to stay at and found nothing but horrible reviews. From there we proceeded to cancel, she stated that we could not receive a refund because of the certain type of insurance she charged us for which upon looking further isnt insurance at all. We are allowed to receive credits that only work with their company and expire in a years time. On top of that, she claims she cant split the credits. We each paid almost $1700 dollars each. Why would I want to do business with a company that has already bilked me. I need to speak with a manager or supervisor because this is not acceptable. I want my full refund. I will be contacting the BBB today.Im not sure how to reply to the companys response , but my booking number is 2383415.

The Flight Canceled And Have Not Received My Refund
The experience has been totally dreadful for me. First I thought everything was running smoothly until my flight was changed 3 times over the past couple days and then it was canceled by frontier airlines. We I was in total shock because we had everything planned with no flight. I was forced to fined another flight out of being scared that we wouldnt be able to find one at such short notice. The flight offered to refund the money and send it back as a paper check being that I no longer had the card used to book but they still supposedly refunded the money back to the card that vacation express used to pay for the flight. The refund was process December 9th 2021 back to vacation express and I still have not received my full refund after being told that I would be refunded the full amount with no penalty. It is now going onto February and it seems like 1500+ dollars paid for the flight just disappeared but I have the person information that card was used at vacation express well the name and the last 4 of the credit card used. Although all this happened, the person that helped us book our trip is wonderful and she is doing everything she can to make sure we get back our refund. She has been extremely awesome through the entire booking until now.

I have used Vacation express for travels to Cancun and Punta Cana 6 times in the last 6 years and have not had any problems with them. The charter flights were basic economy flights and transportation to and from hotel was mostly timely. will definitely use again.

If I Could Give Negative Stars I
If I could give NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD!!! I have spent over 4 hours on the phone with these people trying to use a 3800.00 credit that I received due to vacation being cancelled because of the pandemic. The people who answer the phone do not know the answers and if you ever get a credit make sure they do not split it up . I just spent another hour explaining that they did not credit me all my money and they continued to tel me O owed them 1233.00. Once I asked for a supervisor all of the sudden they found the problem that my air fare wasnt credited. Well thats what I told them in the beginning.

I am telling you right now! NEVER use vacation express! As you can see, the results speak for themselves, and its unfortunate that Im reading them after the fact. I believe that the energy you give out is the same that you will receive. My next step is to report them to the better business bureau. Are the owners or mangers concerned at all about customer feedback? This company will not last. They are all over Groupon other sights offering cheap deals, but if something goes wrong, you will be STUCK and Its not a good feeling to be stranded abroad. My family and I were looking to have a hotel transfer and long story short, we received horrible customer service . Finally the resort staff got in-touch with a local representative for vacation express, and after 3 days of waiting, they let us know that they will charge us a penalty as per said contract for not checking in. We expressed our concerns and waited in the lobby for over 5 hours. One of the representatives literally laughed on the other end after I expressed my concerns. What a DISGRACE.

I Booked My Vacation Through Vacation
I booked my vacation through Vacation Express..I paid my deposit plus insurance. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I am unable to take my trip. The trip is in 2022. I contacted Vacation Express to cancel, they are requesting for me to pay another $290 to receive a credit of $400 with the airlines. Why I can’t get my refund of $385 and you can take your fee out of the $385? I will not pay money to receive a credit that is already owed to me.
