Vacation For A Large Group
Trying to plan a vacation for about 7-8 families in summer 2019. Looking for something in the mid cape- as we dont want to ask family to drive hours after flying across the country . Looking for cabins/cottages in the $200-250 range. Need a place with a pool and open gathering places for large group meals.
Any suggestions?
Above are cottages right ON the beach. The first is in South Yarmouth and Dennis Seashores are award winning right on the sand in Dennis Port. Neither one has a pool but both are located on the usually calm Nantucket Sound.
Also in Dennis Port you can get a rental house for each family. Many of the summer rentals are in the price range that you suggest. Then rent one larger house with a pool. Contact a realtor like www.marthamurrayvacationrentals.com to learn about the very few properties that they have with a pool. If none of those will work for you then ask for a referral to another realtor. However, the town issues occupancy limits for each rental and that is not just for how many can sleep there but even be on the premises.
Another thought is to check the Ebb Tide Cottages which are laid out around a pool and are across the street from the beach in Dennis Port. There are eight of them owned by the McCormick family:
