    Taking Trains In Europe

Trains are a great way to get around. For me, it is the best way since I dont like long bus rides.

Every country in Europe has its own train company. It is worth it to check out the official train websites of each country. Now, there is a more simple solution:! connects all official websites and puts all trains and bus in one.

For instance, in Germany you can get big discounts when you book at least two weeks in advance.

    Monte Carlo Car Rally

    187h-23st January 2022

In what will be the Monte Carlo Car Rallys 89th event, prepare to witness one of the worlds most famous rallies in one of the most incredible locations in Europe. With its historic roots dating back to 1911, and its associations with Prince Albert I, the event is full of history and excitement if you are someone who loves the thrill, speed, and brilliance of some of the worlds top supercars, make a holiday out of your passion, and visit Monte Carlo.

Monte Carlo is undoubtedly one of the best places to visit in January in Europe because it still offers visitors mild temperatures, and there are still lots of things to do. For example, visit the world-famous Casino of Monte Carlo, which has been open since the 1860s.

Dive into the life of the super-rich, and step into the classic, glamorous world of this incredible city. Moreover, if cars arent your thing, make sure you visit the Princes Palace to marvel at its architectural splendor.

And Now For The Beach In Canary Islands

Whether it is for the beach in January and February in the Canary Islands that depends on whether it is sunny or cloudy.

In the darkest days may be around 19 20°C.

This weather is great for outdoor activities, because is not hot or cold.

    It is just perfect.

For the beach, however, may seem cool.

But if the weather is sunny it is around 23 24°C, which makes it great for the beach.

This is actually the only place in Europe where you can lounge on the sand and bathe in the sea in January.

The temperature of the ocean during this period varies in the range of 17 to 19°C.

It is influenced more by ocean currents than by season.

But the fact is that there are people who are more sensitive to weather and according to them temperatures are too low for the beach.

    However, there is a decision.

The swimming pools on the Canary Islands are heated during the winter months.

So in all likelihood every visitor will be satisfied according to the temperatures.

Although there are not many people who would complain of local 19, 21 or 23°C when the temperatures of almost the entire continent are around and even below freezing.

Not to mention that in Europe, even if it is sunny, the January sun hardly could be felt, whereas here there is even a risk of burns!

    Europe In October November

In October, travel slows down in Europe. However, the weather often remains quite nice, especially in Southern European countries. Also in Western Europe, its still possible to have some warm and sunny days in early to mid-October.

In general, the first half of October is a very good time to visit anywhere in Europe. Its not nearly as busy as in September, the prices are lower, and the weather is still good in many places. In the south, it usually remains nice and warm throughout the entire month and even at the beginning of November. In the north, the winter usually hasnt arrived yet.

After that, the weather can be quite unpredictable, with the potential for lots of rain and autumn storms in many places. Visitor numbers are down, with November being one of the slowest months in Europe.

Cheaper flights, accommodation, and tickets for attractions make this a good time to visit Europe if youre prepared to wrap up and risk the rain!

Best Winter Beach Destination In Europe

In the dark and cold winter days when the sky is a leaden and often it rains, many Europeans ask whether there is a place on the continent where they can go to the beach in winter, in particular in January and February, when this season is in its height.

This is the best time to escape from the grayness of European winter.

You can spend more time outdoor, to exercise and have fun, all without having to worry about weather.

See The Northern Lights In Iceland

Iceland is one of the best places to see the Northern Lights in Europe. This natural phenomenon, Aurora Borealis, can typically be seen between sometime in September to March and April.

The trick is that it must be dark enough in order to be visible.

In fact, the Northern Lights are active during the summer months as well, but since the sun sets late in Iceland, its only possible to see the Northern Lights during the winter months when its dark enough.

For the best chance to see the Northern Lights for yourself, download a Northern Lights app. Youll be able to track the daily activity for your visit as well as monitor the cloudiness.

While you wont be able to see it if its too cloudy, you could still drive an hour or two away from your current location to escape the clouds.

And its well worth the drive Aurora Borealis is truly one of the natural wonders of the world.

A last tip: For best success, consider joining a guided tour by experienced Northern Lights chasers.

Valletta Malta 300 Days Of Sunshine In A Year

There is an obvious thing that northern Europeans miss during winter months: the sun. The source of life in general, it is a source of happiness and a good mood for most human beings. It is no surprise then when people look for sunny places for their winter holidays.

One reason that should be enough? Maltese are proud of their 300 days of sunshine in a year. Many of them are in winter too, keeping temperatures to a minimum of approximately ten degrees Celsius and much more pleasant averages. You leave your northern European airport in heavy and warm jackets and you could almost land in flip-flops.

Our favorite town in Malta a European microstate is its capital Valletta, absolutely a gem built on a little peninsula only one kilometer long. It stretches between two little gulfs, which during history were paramount to defend the island and its importance for the Mediterranean marine trade.

Nowadays Valletta is a mix of old XVI and XVII century buildings with their famous bow windows and some very new and modern palaces like the new Parliament designed by world-famous Italian architect Renzo Piano.

The most popular tourist place in Saint Johns Co-Cathedral, with the last painting of Caravaggio in one of its chapels. Enjoy a sunny day reading a book in one of the beautiful Upper or Lower Barakka Gardens, the latter being our favorite.
