Understanding The Difference Between Cabin Charters And Solo Yachts
Cabin charters are effectively meant for people who wish to experience a yachting vacation without renting the entire vessel. These come as an affordable option for tourists looking to venture around the Caribbean without investing a hefty amount.
Solo Caribbean sailing vacations, on the other hand, refer to booking an entire vessel. This comes in a package and tourists can book the vessel as a bareboat or a crewed boat. While bareboat charters will allow the sailor to cruise as they wish, crewed vessels include a chef, a skipper and a full crew onboard.

The Best Keys Vacation
This was something we had never done before, so it was pretty exciting being out at sea for several days in a row. We met Glenn at the marina in Key Largo and finished in Marathon. It was probably only a few hours into the trip that we realized we should have booked another day or two. The feeling of being out on the water, the solitude, and then all of the underwater swimming and snorkeling just came and went too fast. While we are no boat experts, we can say the catamaran seemed to be extremely new, and was very comfortable. It was more like a mobile vacation home than a “boat”.Captain Glenn was a fun and entertaining host. He knew some really great spots for us to have fun, places we would never have seen if this had been a land trip in the Keys. We are really happy to have made the choice to do a boat over a resort on this trip. We are hoping to come back next Summer and do his Dry Tortugas trip. The pictures looked amazing for that and the remoteness of this whole sailing thing really appealed to us. We are kind of hooked now!
