From sea to shining sea, the United States is home to a diverse landscape both culturally and physically. Spending months traveling across its vast landscape gave me a deep appreciation for all my country has to offer.
After traveling across the continental United States through multiple cross country road trips , I wanted to share some of my favorite places in the United States with you. Ive already talked about my favorite restaurants and lessons learned, so it only seems proper to give you a list of the best places to visit in the USA when you come and travel here!
Its Perfect For Family Travel
Off-the-beaten-path travel is the ultimate family adventure, enthused Carrie Buss, a co-founder of Along for the Trip, a blog teaching parents how to get out and see the world with their kids. We think experiencing places with our kids that will inspire them to try new things and will ignite their passion for exploring.

I’ve taken my kids to 59 countries. Our journey with Our Whole Village through Brazil’s Amazon rainforest remains my favorite trip. It was perfectly organized and absolutely magical. The reflections of the Rio Negro tributary , swimming, fishing for piranhas, and the Mirante do Gavião lodge were a few of our highlights. I loved everything. My 8-year-old daughter loved everything. I’d return in a heartbeat and do the same trip again, and travel anywhere else with Our Whole Village as well.

St Augustine Florida Claims To Be The Oldest City In The Us
Dating back to 1565, St. Augustine is filled with stunning Spanish architecture: The Castillo de San Marcos, a 17th-century stone fortress, is a must-see.
