La Voz De Mi Tierra Restaurant

A cute little 100% vegan restaurant popped up on the corner of Avenida Tercer Mundo and Calle Africa. Called La Voz de Mi Tierra , it had a great concept, with a curated menu of sandwiches, bowls, smoothies, baked goods, coffee and tea. I had a sandwich with guacamole, hummus, grilled portabello mushroom, lettuce, tomato and onion, along with a pot of loose-leaf peppermint tea. There was only seating for about four or six people here, but its a great place to grab a to-go meal before a hike or excursion.

The shop is located on the main street at 100 Avenida Tercer Mundo, close to the beach, and almost across from the Mr. Ribs restaurant. The whole team is great. They know all the beaches and are up to date on the weather, water, and surf conditions so they will choose the right beach based on your skill level.

If you are an experienced surfer, Santa Madre Adventures is a great resource for location and surf conditions information. They rent all types of surfboards for all skill levels and provide transportation to the beach of your choice at very affordable rates. In the shop, you will also find clothing and surf equipment to buy, which come really handy if you have forgotten to bring some with you.

I Travelled From Puerto Vallarta Via Uber

I travelled from Puerto Vallarta via Uber. It was a little over an hour, from the romantic zone of PV. I had been to the neighboring town of Sayulita, so I was excited to check out San Pancho. Although Sayulita has an artsy vibe that I like, I enjoyed the intimacy of San Pancho a bit more. It’s a quaint village that has a nice mixture of Mexican locals and ex-pats embracing their spiritual awakenings or free-spirited lifestyles. It appeared to be a healthy, cohesive multi-cultural community full of great restaurants , bars, cafés, galleries, art studios, boutiques, surf shops, yoga studios and wellness centers. If you are open to a non-judgmental, cozy and high vibrational community, I highly recommend checking out San Pancho.

What Are The Seasons In San Pancho

There are two basic seasons in San Pancho. The high season is from November 1 to May 31. The low season is from June 1 to October 31. The low season has been designated as such because there are fewer tourists visiting San Pancho during that time.

San Pancho Beach / Playa San Pancho

The expansive beach at the end of Avenida Tercer Mundo is San Panchos gem. The rougher waters and stronger undertows make swimming a near-impossibility, but theres plenty of space for everyone to lay out their beach blanket, pop up their umbrella and relax with a good book or a cold beer. There are a few beach chair rentals available from the bar on the beach, but its also worth asking your hotel if they can provide the essentials .

P.S.: at the end of the road before the beach there is a little ice cream shop to the right hand. Personally I didn’t like the ice cream very much but they have a really good “crema de coco” and “agua de maracuja”

What Rental Accommodation Options Are In San Pancho

As mentioned earlier there are no big chain hotels. There are some boutique privately owned hotels in San Pancho, that are decent, comfortable and rather pricey. There are also privately owned mini-hotels-motels type of properties, more modest in comfort and price. There are also very economical hostels that provide very basic accommodations and amenities.

Finally, there are private homes which are rented either on a per room basis or the whole house. Some of these private homes have traditional Mexican decor, some have more modern design and decor. Most of the private homes tend to be upscale, with beautiful views and a little farther away from the hassle and bustle and the night-life noises of the San Pancho village.

What If I Want A Long

It is difficult to find long term lease or rental in San Pancho. This is for the obvious economic reason that property owners typically can earn more on a per night short-term basis. But all depends on the season as well. The low tourist season in San Pancho between June and October it may be possible to find availability and willing property owners to rent for a longer time, on a month-to-month basis. At San Pancho rentals Selva Suites in Nayarit, Mexico we plan to gauge the market and see what the demand is and we will operate accordingly. We are open to both long term renting and short term vacation or holiday renting of the home on a per-suite basis or renting the whole house.

We named our San Pancho rental home, Selva Suites in San Pancho. During these 4 months of building our San Pancho vacation rental, we completed the huge interconnected water cisterns of 314 m3 with a capacity of 314,000 liters or 82,950 gallons!!! Also completed the foundation walls of the infinity swimming pool along with the extension wall posts supporting the lower level of the pool, the first floor level with the plumbing and electric conduits and have started to put up the Hebel block walls making up the first rooms.

A Note For Those Looking For Houses In San Pancho

Since writing this post, Ive had a lot of emails asking for advice on how to find a place in San Pancho. Im afraid all I can say is go there and ask around. Thats what we did and I dont have any experience trying anything else. The only places I know of to look online are Air BnB and the website San Pancho Life. I know that San Pancho Life tends to list vacation rentals so the prices are pretty high. Sorry not to be of more help!
