Family Getaways: Grand Hotel Mackinac Island
If you are looking for weekend getaways with kids in the Midwest, Grand Hotel Mackinac Island, located in the center of the Great Lakes waterway, is an all-inclusive summer vacation destination, open from May through October. No cars are allowed on the island and there is plenty to do, from swimming in the pool to golf, walking and biking in the beautiful Mackinac Island State Park.
