Dead Or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation Reveals New Girl Amy

Koei Tecmo revealed a new heroine that added to the roster of their popular free-to-play game Dead Or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation.

Today Koei Tecmo and DMM revealed and released a new heroine added to the roster of their popular free-to-play game Dead Or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation.

Her name is Amy and shes voiced by Sayumi Suzushiro, who recently offered her voice to Cassandra Cappelli in Atelier Ryza 2.

Amy is 18, shes 156 cm tall, and shes an engineer. Her hobbies are collecting gadgets, crosswords, and solo camping. She loves apple cinnamon tea and the color carmine. Her birthday is on June 18.

As usual, shes available first in a paid-only gacha, so shell be unavailable for several months to players that dont intend to spend an inordinate amount of money for a shamefully low chance to unlock her.

While the SSR percentage to get an SSR costume from the gacha is 1.1%, you actually have only a 0.78% chance to get Amy, because the remaining 0.32% is taken by completely useless dresses for other girls, artificially lowering the odds even further.

Its worth mentioning that, as usual, Amy is only available in the Japanese version of the game. The English versions of the game on Steam and Johren are behind in content by about a year , so their users will have to wait a while before even having a chance at unlocking Amy.

Dead Or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation English Johren Release Revealed

People finally will be able to more easily play Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation, as Johren announced it picked up the English version of the PC game. At the moment, it has a near future release window.

This means it will be easier for people outside of Asia to play the game. Previously, it was only available in Japan via DMM, before getting a wider release in Asia via Steam. The Steam version had English as a language option.

Johren also discussed some of the Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation launch bonuses. People can get three SSR swimsuits by completing the tutorial, logging in for the New Owner Login Bonus, and participating in Main Festivals. However, it also noted that its version of the game wont be compatible with accounts made with the Steam version.

This isnt the only Japan-exclusive game to be picked up by Johren in 2021. The company also picked up Touken Ranbu Online. Thats the game where people collect swords, which also happen to be handsome men, and use them in battles.

Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation is available immediately on PCs in Asia and Japan, and the English version will appear on Johren in the near future.

In DOA6, the game I’ve played by far the least out of the DOA fighting games and never bothered to learn the finer mechanics of, I’ve won 303 out of the 345 matches I’ve played with Tina online.So when my Twitter feed throws up that Team Ninja have, after six years of skipping the ”old” characters , put Tina into DOAXVV and rushed her inclusion into the English version of the game , well… I was compelled to load it up once more.I didn’t expect the game to magically not be gross any more. I didn’t expect to have a good time with it. But as the most die-hard of die-hard Tina Armstrong players for two and a half decades, clearly I had to at least check out if they were doing her justice.Thus I looked up how to un-hide games from Steam, I hit the install button, and I crossed my fingers that, against all odds, I could have something, anything positive to say about the game now.
