From $4,599 per person8 daysAirfare additional costBased on 4 travelers
This New Zealand Family Vacation was planned for a family from Texas. It was the kids spring break trip, so they had a limited amount of time and wanted to hit the highlights of New Zealand. We sent them to Queenstown, which is surrounded by that gorgeous Lord of the Rings scenery that makes New Zealand so unique. Queenstown is also the adventure capital of New Zealand, and they certainly had tons of fun here!
They started their New Zealand Family Vacation in Auckland, the City of Sails. They enjoyed 2 nights in New Zealands largest city and stayed in the luxurious SkyCity Auckland. The next day, they did the exhilarating SkyWalk 328 meters above the air! They also ventured out to the Auckland surrounds to see the untamed forests and black sand beaches.
Next on their New Zealand Family Vacation, they flew to Queenstown on the South Island. This gorgeous town on the shores of Lake Wakatipu has the feel of a small frontier town, but with plenty of luxury accommodations, incredible restaurants , and adventure activities.
Day 8After breakfast, your chauffeur will pick you up and take you to Queenstown Airport, where you will begin your journey home.
Vineeth’s 14 Days Trip To New Zealand
My Wife and I had planned to visit New Zealand and wanted a mix of both adventure and a romantic experience. we shortlisted HubHoliday among the various agents. though their pricing was a bit high, the coordination was excellent. Thanks to Mr.Amit for planning it really well in such a short notice. He kept checking on us not just before the trip, but even when we were there. we trusted him blindly on this entire process and he never let us down even once. we had no complains and we thoroughly enjoyed our honeymoon. looking forward to making more memories via HubHOLIDAY. )

New Zealand Travel Highlights
The size of New Zealand is comparable with that of Great Britain or Japan. The coastline in its entirety measures 1500 kilometres/900 miles in length, strangely enough, the same distance that separates New Zealand from Australia across the Tasman Sea. 20% of the country is covered in national parks, forests and reserves. An interesting fact is that 80% of the flora here is native.
New Zealand is a country made up of two major islands, simply called the North and South Islands which are separated by the Cook Strait which is 22 kilometres/14 miles in width at its narrowest point. They contrast in not only terrain and physical features but also in character and attractions.
The North Island is volcanic and thermal. The South Island is two-thirds mountains and one-third plains. The North Island offers lush sub-tropical vegetation, exotic flora and fauna, beaches and attractive small friendly towns. Approximately 75% of Maori culture exists on the North Island although only 15% of the total New Zealand population is Maori. The Polynesians from whom the Maoris are descended, settled here many centuries ago.

Best Time To Visit New Zealand
Fair warning, New Zealand is a meteorologists worst nightmare in the space of 24 hours, one can easily experience all four seasons. But as fair warnings go, the weather is fair enough to indulge in anything any day. Because the country and its two islands are surrounded by such massive water-bodies, it gets more than its share of trade winds. So, it gets a temperate climate with days of sudden drizzles, windy afternoons and pleasant evenings. Best advice: Remember to pack a wind-cheater, wellingtons but no umbrellas! Besides the above, travellers should be very comfortable in summer-weight clothes. Hot Tip: Every March, Auckland hosts Pasifika a mega-festival of everything South Pacific. With dances, performances and events for days, it is a must-experience event for the experiential traveller. Also, you can check out our blogs on New Zealand to see if we have the same bucket-list items to explore!

Around The North Island
In Auckland, catch a ferry to Waiheke Island for great beaches, cafes and wineries, or to the quaint north shore suburb of Devonport. Visit Kelly Tarltons Sea Life Aquarium, and walk-through its giant aquarium as giant sea creatures swim over you, before exploring the Antarctic Ice Adventure, home to New Zealands only colony of Sub-Antarctic penguins. If youre really up for an adventure, tackle the Auckland Bridge Climb and Bungy.
Other places to visit on the North Island include Rotorua with its geothermal parks, Tamaki Maori Village, Splash Planet, and Skyline Rotorua, Waitomo for its glow worm caves, Wellington for its famous Te Papa Museum, and the spectacular Bay of Islands region, home to the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula and its iconic Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach.

Four luxurious stand-alone houses greet guests at this 1000-acre conservation estate. Perfect for extended family groups, they sleep from six to twelve people and offer experiences from fishing on the jetty to hiking on the boardwalks and tracks that criss-cross the property’s fertile wetlands.
Six private beaches offer plenty of opportunities for swimming and snorkeling, with especially safe spots for young children to frolic in the warm water.
New Zealand’s beautiful Bay of Islands is just a three-hour drive or 35-minute flight north of Auckland. With 144 islands dotted around the Bay, there are boating and fishing experiences for everyone. Try big game fishing out in the Pacific or hand-lines on the harbor for the littlies. If fishing doesn’t appeal, cruise out on the iconic Cream Run or Hole in the Rock tours.
Suppose you’re looking for something completely different. How about a natural theme park with primordial native forest alongside wild deer and even water buffalo.
You won’t find anything like Rotorua’s thermal wonderland anywhere else in New Zealand. Its bubbling geysers, steaming mud pools, and colorful volcanic landscape is a must on any North Island itinerary. Rotorua is steeped in Maori culture and a great place to learn more about ancient and modern Maori life. Rotorua is a three-hour drive south of Auckland or a quick flight from Auckland, Wellington, or Christchurch, making it an easy option to include in your journey.

Auckland Wellington And Christchurch Airports
New Zealand is about a three-hour flight from the East Coast of Australia. Several airlines regularly fly from Australian capital cities to New Zealand so you should be able to get a flight any day of the week. Air New Zealand offers flights daily from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane to Auckland and four times a week from Perth. From Adelaide, you must first stopover in Melbourne or Sydney. Direct flights are also available from Sydney and Melbourne to Wellington and Christchurch.
Several transport options are available from the airport if you havent arranged a transfer with your hotel. Regular buses and shuttle services operate from the airports to the city centre, there are always taxis waiting outside the Arrivals hall, and car hire is also available.
One of the most interesting ways to get out of Auckland Airport is by a helicopter flight to anywhere in the country you choose, which can be booked in advance or at the airport.
The South Island Of New Zealand
What to do in Christchurch?
The South Island boasts many choices to confirm its overwhelming natural beauty that makes up this region. Starting with the largest city, Christchurch, one finds a very English metropolis with its buildings, gardens and Avon River which flows through the heart of the city. Stroll along the banks of the tree-lined Avon River and observe the neo-gothic architecture. Largely rebuilt after the devastating recent earthquake, the city has not lost its charm. Take in Christchurch Cathedral, the Botanical Gardens and the Christchurch Art Gallery as well as simply stroll its streets and parks. One can take a cable car up to the Port Hills for a panoramic view of both Christchurch and the port of Lyttelton on the coast.
What to do in Queenstown?
Probably the most visited destination on a New Zealand vacation is the city of Queenstown in the South Island, a charming and scenic resort town located on Lake Wakatipu surrounded by mountains called the Remarkables. Apart from its natural beauty, it is also a centre for many sporting activities. It also has a lively nightlife. One iconic excursion is to take a cruise on a restored steamship on Lake Wakatipu. Also one can take the gondola to Bobs Peak for great views of the region.
To sum up, New Zealand is truly a paradise and a country in which to invest a good deal of time to discover its magical and unique charms on New Zealand tours.

Vivek’s 10 Days Trip To New Zealand
We booked our New Zealand through travel traingle and hub holidays. Our plan was customised as per our requirements . Hotels, flights, meal, activities , self drive car everything was good. We did not face any issue during our trip. The only set back was Franz Joseph hotel which was 30 mins away from the main city. Other then that everything was good.We did not have a good experience with the visa team though. They were not aware of all the documents needed and we’re not even aware that new Zealand tourist visa is an e visa for Indians, we being in Bangalore had to send them documents couple of time. Also they were rude no customer obsession. The 1 start that I have deducted is solely for travel relations the visa company. At one point we felt we could have done processing for our visa and it would have been much faster. But the experience we had with travel traingle and hub holidays is 5*.
