South Padre Island has tons of activities to choose from for people of all ages and interests! Water sports are very popular here thanks to warm, shallow waters and the sandy bottom. Kiteboarding has become a well-known hobby since the winds can be fairly strong, and you can take lessons from a professional in town. Snorkeling, scuba diving, and surfing are also tons of fun and easy to access here, and you can even take a sandcastle-building lesson!
Go dolphin watching, do an eco tour, or check out rehabilitating sea turtles at Sea Turtle Inc. There are even three campgrounds on the island, so you can listen to the fire crackle while the waves roll in, or you can get some adrenaline pumping through jet skiing, skydiving, or parasailing.
This area is also bike friendly, so it’s easy to rent out bicycles with your friends or family and explore the town. Many birds and other flora and fauna pass through this area with the seasons, and the Laguna Madre Nature Trail is a great place to do some bird-watching and enjoy nature’s gifts.

South Padre Island Fun
As everyone else has stated, this condo has everything you need. We were two senior couples sharing the unit for a month and a half, but the third bedroom was used often by other friends and relatives visiting for a short time. You wake up in the morning to watch the sunrise while you enjoy a cup of coffee. Then comes a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice or grapefruit from the farmer’s market followed by a short elevator ride to the beach for a walk along the shore. You can take it from there. You won’t find a nicer place with better amenities or more helpful owners and staff. And it all comes at half the price of anything comparable straight across the gulf.

This experience was all of the above. The communication with the owners was great. I was never without the information that I needed to make this family get away stress free. The condo was breath taking. The pictures don’t do the view justice. There was so much room to spread out but not so big that you feel that you are isolated. You don’t want for anything when going to the beach. My 2 adult daughters made great use of the beach toys 🙂 Every type of pot/pan/dish/ appliance you think you may need, or don’t think you will ever need is provided. I wish we could have stayed so much longer there. We will definitely be repeating this trip, and will not settle for anything other than Lana and Nick’s condo!

Convenient To The Beach Access
The house was amazing! The kids loved the Theatre room and pool. The downside was we didn’t realize every day someone would be coming by: landscapers, pool cleaners, exterminator. And there was no warning, they just walked in the side gate and started doing what they needed to do. Startling to say the least.

Great Condo For Families W/ Kids
My family and I stayed in this beautiful condo during our stay at South Padre Island and it was even better than advertised. I have 4 young boys , this condo was very accommodating to kids with the toys that were provided and the atmosphere is very family friendly. The location of the condo was great for beach access and Schlitterbahn which we enjoyed greatly. We will book here in the future.
Comfortable Condo For All Ages
Our extended family – 6 adults and two children – stayed five nights at this lovely condo. We loved the close access to a less-crowded beach than condos further north on the island, and didnt have to contend with the traffic up there either. We cooked several meals easily in the well stocked kitchen and all of us fit at the table. The bedrooms are generously sized and beds are comfy, everyone agreed. Great shower in the master bath! Lots of beach necessities were provided as well, and there was easy keypad access to the front door and beach entrance. Lana was good about contacting us to make sure everything was satisfactory. All in all it was a big success with the family and we plan to return.

A Great Time Was Had By All
We arrived at South Padre road weary and opened the door to a beautiful Condo. The 3 bedrooms were really nice and having 2 bathrooms was a blessing. We had a fully stocked kitchen as far as dishes, pots and pans, baking items, silverware etc. We enjoyed having the washer and dryer right there in the condo, saved us time and money running to a laundromat. It was nice having a closet right outside the front door with beach toys and boogie boards and the nice thing in the complex was having an elevator with easy access to the beach right out the 1st floor lobby. The swimming pool was really nice too. Having a gated place for our cars was also a plus, no worry about having our cars stolen or damaged. I would highly recommend this Condo and will definitely return on a future visit to South Padre Island. The beach was nice and the water a great temperature.

Spring Break On San Padre Island
We rented a condo in Sea Vista II from Lana and Nick Staub for a week of spring break for our Grandchildren. The condo was great and was right on the ocean as advertised. The three bedrooms were very spacious and the beds were all extremely comfortable. Sea Vista II is the southern most complex on SPI and provides a beach that is quiet and not as crowded as those more north. The complex is well maintained and the heated swimming pool and hot to were great after a day on the beach. Lana and Nick were very helpful and accommodating and provided a lot of info on places t eat and things to do. We would definitely return to this condo in the future.

Absolutely Perfect Once Again
This is as close to heaven as you can get. This is our second stay here, and we plan on making this our yearly beach vacation getaway. This condo is perfect. Our family of 8 sleeps very comfortably here with all of the amenities of home. We very much appreciate the fully outfitted kitchen and the amazing assortment of beach toys…from chairs and umbrellas to body boards and shovels and pails everything is there ready for use. The condo itself is modern and clean and very comfortable. The picture makes the beach look further away than it really is. It is so convenient to have the entrance to the beach shared between just two buildings. Really, everything is as close to perfection as humanly possible. Thank you Lana and Nick for a wonderful vacation once again!

Perfect Home Away From Home
I am so happy we found this property for our summer getaway. Everything was perfect! First, you can’t beat the location or the view. The beach is super easy to access literally just a few steps away and not crowded at all. We also enjoyed the sounds and scenery every evening from the balcony. I was a little bit worried about being so close to Schlitterbahn, but we really never noticed any extra people, noise or traffic. Inside the condo we were more than a little impressed! The owners obviously take pride in their property and care for the comfort of their guests. From the laundry pods, to the face wipes, to the 5 or 6 fans we found throughout, to the beach toys, to the movies…I am sure I could go on! We found everything we needed and more. The beds were comfortable, the A/C worked great, and having a TV in every room was really nice as well. I really can’t find very much to complain about except MAYBE for the small kitchen. Don’t get me wrong – the kitchen had everything we needed and tons of counter space. But it was a little tight to have 2 people trying to cook or prepare meals at once. It certainly didn’t ruin my vacation though and we intend to be back as soon as possible! If you’re reading this review then you’ve found a great place to stay. Go ahead and book it now while you can!
The Condo On The Beach Is Fantastic And The Perfect Place For Vacation
We had a wonderful time with our adult children. The condo is very clean and well stocked with everything you need for the kitchen and the beach. A king size bed and tv in every bedroom is an awesome perk. The location is great, we walked the beach to some restaurants as well as took the bus a couple of times. Lana and Nick are so easy to work with and everything was flawless in renting this condo. We will definitely be back in the future.

We’ve stayed in this condo twice now. It’s in a convenient location for walking to a couple of popular restaurants as well as Schlitterbahn. The property is well-maintained and safe the security personnel are visible and helpful. The owners are easy to work with. The condo itself has very comfortable mattresses and an extremely well-equipped kitchen. There is also a new washer and dryer which our family especially appreciated. The beach is beautiful. We’ve stayed in several SPI condos — this is one of our favorites.
