We spent a couple nights in a queen suite, which was a Genius upgrade for us. It was very clean and comfortable. We had only one minor “complaint”: There was no microwave in the room, so we had to go to the breakfast area and use that one if we wanted to cook/warm up anything. The setting of the motel was pleasant, and we were conveniently located to everything we wanted to do on St Simon and Jekyll Island. Also, the staff were wonderful. I highly recommend!

This was by far one of the best places Ive had the pleasure of staying while traveling. The people were beyond nice! The hotel was clean and roomy not to mention quiet,cozy, and quite nice. The pool oh the pool was very relaxing, I only stuck my toe in, but it was very warm. We just sat poolside and listened to some music on a Low volume and enjoyed the scenery. It was great! And close to the pier which was awesome especially at night. Also close to the beaches!

The Town Was Great And Offered An Abundant Options Of Places
The town was great and offered an abundant options of places to eat. We loved walking the town which as a pier and lighthouse. Lots of options for major grocery stores. We love history so Ft. Federica was a fun outing. Very nice beaches but it was a long walk from parking lot to the beach. Suggest you have some sort of cart to bring belongings.Traffic did get congested around the major shopping centers.

We took the excellent St Simons trolley tour and learned a lot about the history of the island, and we also got a better sense of getting around. There is a lot to do – visit the lighthouse, Christ Church, the tree spirit scavenger hunt, shops and restaurants, the beach, a theater and biking. The ice cream/candy shop in the village is excellent. The island is very nice and not too congested. Many great restaurants although some are only open for dinner at this time. The local people that we met were very friendly.
