What Should I Pack For A Vacation
What you pack for your vacation depends on the activities youll be doing and the climate of your destination. Starting with the essentials, pack staple pieces like basic tees, comfortable shoes, a casual dress, and high waist jeans for casual activities like exploring a city or a staycation at your besties house! Think about creating layers for when you need more or less protection for a specific activity, uncertain weather, and/or coverage from the elements. Choose lightweight long sleeve crop tops and dusters for warm temps and sweaters or open front trenches for colder destinations. If youre heading to a warm climate, make sure to bring some stylish one-piece swimsuits and/or bikinis, cute sandals, trendy cover-ups, denim skirts, and comfortable shorts. If youre traveling to a colder climate, be sure to pack jackets, booties, beanies, scarves, and cozy chenille knit sweaters. For the days that youll dress up on your vacation, consider dressy and semi-formal attire like an LBD, skater romper, wrap satin dresses or velvet short dresses that you can pair with clear heels or rhinestone stilettos. The next time, youre heading out for a vacation, think about the length of your stay, the activities youll encounter, and the weather of your destination.
What Is The No New Clothes Challenge
The no new clothes challenge is when you pledge to not buy new clothes for a certain period of time. This could be for 30 days, three months, six months, a year, or longer its up to you!
The rules are simple. You can choose to not buy ANY clothing, shoes or accessories during the challenge, or you can decide to shop secondhand if you need to buy something.
For this challenge, I chose to not buy any clothes for a year or shop secondhand. Instead, I shopped my closet and repurposed items that I already had. This is the best way to practice sustainable fashion.

I Have Enough Im Not Missing Out On New Stuff
When I started the no new clothing challenge, I struggled with FOMO . However, once I got involved with more productive activities, such as starting this blog, my FOMO quickly disappeared. I was able to put that extra energy into growing my blog and boosting my income.
Seeing friends, family or fashion bloggers buying new things didnt make me jealous anymore. I recognized that buying new clothing wouldnt make me a better person, or more likeable. It was just a means to create a false sense of wealth.
On days when I felt like shopping, I reminded myself of everything I already owned. I was grateful and felt happy to have the wardrobe that I did.
Stuff will always be there, its not going away. But I have the power to make a choice and be mindful with my purchases. This mindset helped me stick to the no new clothing challenge.

If something fits too small or too big, let it go. Unless you plan on getting it tailored to fit properly, its not worth keeping.
If youre saving something for a special occasion, wear it now. Dont wait for a moment that may never come. Life is short, so celebrate now!
