Palm Springs feels like a small community, but has the culture and vibrancy of a large city. There is always something new to discover.
In 2022, Greater Palm Springs will welcome a number of new hotels and resorts. Im super excited about several new properties coming to the desert this year like the 14-room Azure Sky and Hotel ZOSOs revamped design and refresh, with a new food and beverage program. Also on the horizon: Sensei Porcupine Creek, Hermann Bungalows and The Paloma Resort, each offering their own unique vibes, from ultra-luxe to wellness-minded.
From Coachella to the BNP Paribas Open, world-renowned events are also coming back on the scene and better than ever. Modernism Week has expanded to offer more special programming and exclusive tours and events by extending dates to other months like May 12-15 this year, says Curtin. Plus, a new Modernism Museum highlighting the best of the modernist era from the 50s to the early 70s is coming soon as an inspirational modernist hub.

While youre at it, I also recommend checking out Buffalo, NY, which is located on the Niagara Frontier. This hidden gem in Western New York will blow your mind! The Finger Lakes, which are also nearby, is worthy of a visit
Charleston Stands Out For Its Culinary Scene Historic Architecture And Big Upcoming Events
With a celebrated culinary scene, luxurious accommodations, historic architecture, and big events on the 2022 calendar, Charleston remains a perennial favorite domestic destination.
The city’s popular culinary festival, Charleston Wine + Food Festival returns in March. The anticipated International African American Museum, which explores the city’s role in the history of slavery, is also set to open early in the year.

Alcatraz Island was a prison that held some of the most dangerous criminals in America however, it closed down in 1963 and now serves as a tourist attraction. The bay area also has many beautiful beaches for people to visit for fun in the sun and sand.
San Luis Obispo California
California is filled with amazing family-friendly locations, but one often overlooked region is the San Luis Obispo area on the Central Coast. Located on the popular Pacific Coast Highway route between San Francisco and Los Angeles, this is an area worth stopping for a few days.
SLO CAL, as it is often called, offers families an abundance of year-round outdoor activities, animal sightings and even a few quirky sights too.From kayaking at Morro Bay with some of the worlds remaining sea otters to sailing with Captain Mark in search of whales, there is so much to do and see on the water.
For land-based families, you can try your hand at driving sand dune buggies or sand sledding at the one of a kind state park, Oceano State Vehicular Recreation Area.
On a coast filled with cool beaches, another must-visit in this area is Grover Beach where you can drive on the beach to set up your own bonfire wherever you want. Or head to Moonstone Beach to collect rocks while searching for the elusive moonstone.
Families into the quirky will love a visit to the Madonna Inn, Hearst Castle and of course the infamous Bubblegum Alley in San Luis Obispo. Dont forget to look for check out the elephant seal rookery in San Simeon and the herd of zebras in the pastures nearby.
There is so much to do and see in this region that a quick pass through on Highway 1 can never do it justice. Book a room, stay for a while and give yourself time to see it all.

Detroit One Of The Upcoming Top Places To Visit In America
Ask a group of people to describe what Detroit is like and 9 out of 10 of them will probably give you an exaggerated answer. They may describe it as ruined, lawless, post-apocalyptic, and to be avoided at all cost. So if havent already heard of the Detroit Renaissance, look it up. It happening, right now, whether people know it or not.

New England Countryside One Of The Usas Most Scenic Places In Autumn
Ill be the first to admit that New England wasnt really my idea of majesty, at first. Dont ask me why but the typical New England sights and experiences, like rustic red barns, fresh-churned butter, and maple syrup, didnt really do it for me.
But fuck me, if New England isnt one of the most beautiful places in the world in the autumn, then I dont know where is. The trees here go absolutely berzerk in October, turning all shades of red and gold, and put on a show for the masses.
Foliage aside, New England does have some cool little communities that are worth visiting:
- Connecticut, while usually inhabited by batshit insane people, has the bucolic Litchfield Hills.
- Burlington, Vermont is a laid back, hippy-sort of place .
- Finally, the White Mountains of New Hampshire may offer the best scenery in the region, fall or otherwise.
So is New England better than California or the Rocky Mountains? I cant say for sure, but, then again, I may just be jealous.
