I genuinely enjoy winter theres something so lovely about staying in and wrapping up warm when its so bitterly cold outside. Theres also how beautiful everything gets when it snows. Well, that is until Christmas time is over and done with and, after a few weeks of rather grey weather in London , its not long before my thoughts some of the best places in France to visit come summer-time!
Retrospectively, I realised we seem to go through phases with destinations one year we went to Spain every single month.
Then next, it was Italy. Then France. Then Germany came up quickly in the rankings Long story short, we figured we might as well kick start the summer holiday planning with some of the very best places in France to visit when the sun finally returns properly to our fair land!

Queenstown is a tiny town located on the South Island of New Zealand.
Although just a small town, there are a lot of beautiful places to explore in and around Queenstown. To start with, Queenstown is located on the edge of Lake Wakatipu.
The lake is surrounded by mountains and its nothing short of breathtaking. Watching the sun go down from the edge of the lake is a must-do while visiting Queenstown! The Remarkables Mountain Range is also located in Queenstown.
The towering mountain peaks are often covered in snow and have become an icon of Queenstown. In the summer, you can hike at the Remarkables to places like Lake Atla , and in winter, you can go skiing and snowboarding.
From the chairlift on a clear day, the views are amazing! If you jump on the scenic gondola ride from Queenstown, youll be taken 450 meters up to the top of a mountain called Bobs Peak.
From here, youll have views of Queenstown down below, Lake Wakatipu, and the Remarkables all at once!
For more adventure, hike to the summit of Ben Lomond from here! Alternatively, the views from the top of Queenstown Hill also rival those from Bobs Peak.
The truth is, there isnt anywhere in Queenstown that isnt beautiful.
