Beautiful Cabin With All Amenities
Thank you for the beautiful cabin, it was perfect for our family of six. Our youngest son loved reading and playing in the Eagle’s Nest. Looking back we wish we would have spent more time here, but did enjoy our long days in Yellowstone National Park, the Tetons, and an exciting rafting trip through Montana White Water . We did take one night to take advantage of the fire pit and had lots of fun roasting s’mores. Throughout the week we saw all sorts of wildlife including grizzly bear, black bears, moose, lots of elk, antelope, white tail deer, saw hundreds of bison , and experienced a cattle drive crossing Hwy 20. We hope to come back!

Great Stay Great Outdoors
Three good friends enjoyed a superb week at this charming vacation home near Henry’s Lake. Although we had snow in late May, the weather was otherwise perfect for the numerous day trips we took to Yellowstone National Park.An ideal setting for a gathering of friends or family, this vacation home was a wonderful place to retreat to nature and enjoy a respite from the hectic life. Lovely Nicely Furnished And Well Equipped Cabin
What a lovely cabin! So well equipped and such lovely decor! There were three generations of our family here: grandparents, parents and granddaughters. We have had such a comfortable and wonderful time here this week. The Park was magnificent and we saw so many beautiful animals! We even went to the Wolf and Bear Park and had close views of the animals. We left for the Tetons on Thursday and on to NC on Sunday. We’ve had such a great family vacation!

Great Stay At Wonderful Cabin
We had a wonderful time! We were kindly greeted by our neighbors dog . We also spotted moose on the way to the cabin and to the main road. While in Yellowstone, we caught a brief glance of wolves on Slough Creek and we saw at least three black bears. There were plenty of bison and elk to see when you enter the west entrance. There is a Bear Spray on the top shelf near the front door. Also, a little tip, do NOT get bear bells! The rangers call them dinner bells.

A Great Place To Vacation
We had a wonderful time at the Mountain Cabin in Island Park. The house was very quaint, cozy, clean and had a lot of homey amenities. As you can see in the picture though, the cabin sits up a ways from the main road so in the winter, make sure you have a 4-wheel drive or chains to get up the driveway. We loved it.

Dream Vacation Of A Lifetime
6/11-6/18, 2011After our long days in Yellowstone and The Grand Tetons, the cabin was the perfect place to unwind and spend time with family! Perfect Accommodations With Great Amenities Eagle’s Nest And Fire Pit
We stayed here for 5 nights while visiting Yellowstone National Park. Accommodations were perfect. The kids loved the Eagle’s Nest and the fire pit. Having all of the amenities made our stay stress free. We recommend hiking to Trout Pond , Fairy Falls to see Grand Prismatic Spring, and the brink to Lower Falls. We have seen every imaginable animal. We’re still on the lookout for a grizzly bear and a moose. Hope to come back again. Thank you ~

Comfortable Cabin Felt Like Home
We stayed at the Mountain Lake Cabin from February 17-21, 2011. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the cabin. The cabin had several amenities, including cookware, miscellaneous food items, dry goods like spices and coffee, extra towels, and a washing machine/dryer. It was very comfortable and felt like home. The management staff was accommodating and easy to work with. We loved our stay in this area. We enjoyed snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and a snow-coach into Yellowstone/Old Faithful. It was very cold . We wanted the snow experience being from Texas. The scenery is beautiful. I love this area. The only negative is maybe the lack of fresh meats and variety of fresh fruits at the local grocer, so you may want to consider shopping in Idaho Falls before you arrive.

We love hearing what our guests have to say about our home, because we too enjoy this lovely area year round.It’s true that the little markets near by are lacking in many fresh foods, but they do offer the basics Please note that there are two grocery stores in West Yellowstone that have a great selection, including fresh fruits, vegetables and meats. Guests can shop there after a trip into Yellowstone Park. Also, when you’re headed up from Idaho Falls on Hwy 20, there is also Dave’s market in Ashton.

We Loved Staying In This Cabin
Thank you for sharing this beautiful cabin! We loved the comfortable furnishings, the fully equipped kitchen, the window views and the deck to take it all in. We also had fun riding our bikes, floating Henry’s Fork, and going into West Yellowstone. The Little Mermaid musical at the Play Mill was amazing! No matter what we did we were thankful to have this cabin to come back to at the end of the day. The master bed is SO comfortable, and I love your high-quality sheets. Thanks for all the Kleenex around too. Lots of little touches that we really appreciated.

Peaceful And Beautiful Place To Stay
We enjoyed our stay here very much! The view from the deck is unbeatable! There was a lot of wildlife to watch as well. Only about 20 minutes to the entrance of Yellowstone. There is no air conditioning, which normally wouldnt be an issue, but it was hot the week we stayed. The fans helped and we were gone during the hot part of the day anyway. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back! Thank you!!

Wonderful Place Good Base For Visiting Yellowstone
The cabin was great, and equipped very well with necessities for your stay like spices in the kitchen, laundry detergent, and other practical things. It’s about a 20 minute drive from the gate of yellowstone – and it’s set in an absolutely beautiful place. I honestly wish we had more time to stay there and just enjoy the cabin, but we had limited time and spend most of it in Yellowstone. I would definitely recommend staying here, and hope to return someday.

Exactly What We Wanted In A Great Area

Beautiful Cabin Relaxing Getaway
We have 5 kids 6 and under and this was the perfect cabin! It was beautiful and cozy, with plenty of room for our whole family. They had anything that you could think of that you would need in the kitchen. We loved using the grill and playing in the deep snow. We also went over to the local pool to swim, we had a blast! It is very close to Yellowstone also. I would recommend this cabin to anyone!! We cannot wait to go back!

The Place Was Great Very Comfortable
The only problem with this otherwise great rental was that there was a long list of chores to do before leaving. The checkout time of 10am seemed a bit early to get everything done and to get ourselves out the door. I recommend asking for a noon checkout

Hi Sally, we apologize that you found our list to be too exhaustive. As with most rentals in Island Park, Idaho, we are in a rural area with limited cleaning staff available. In the summer most cleaning companies are doing their best to clean more than one cabin in a day to turn them over to the new guests. With the short list of chores that includes stripping the beds, starting one load of laundry and putting your trash in the bins provided, it allows us to have same day turn-arounds to accommodate the next guests. We are always happy to allow for a late check out if there are not more guests coming later that day to start their own vacations. Thanks for the feedback.

Glamping In Idaho: Henry’s Lake Cabin Rentals
This spacious log cabin rental lies just nearby Henry’s Lake in Idaho and is great for eight people. There are two bedrooms with queen-size beds on the main floor, and another two queen beds in the loft area, along with two full bathrooms for guests to share. On the main level, there is a large living area with leather sofas and a satellite television. Moving into the kitchen area, guests will find everything from a stove and oven, to a dishwasher for easy clean-up. There is island seating for two people, so guests can keep the cook company while preparing meals. The highlight of this cabin is the stunning wooden deck outside the property. Location is very convenient for frequent visits to Yellowstone, but there are things to see in the immediate area as well. Secluded, but not difficult to get to. Highly recommended.

Winter Stay At Mountain Lake Cabin A Great Success
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We spent many hours playing games and enjoying the view. Our two teenage sons hiked around and played in the snow. We drove into West Yellowstone and did a snowmobile tour into Old Faithful and later enjoyed a fantastic dog sled adventure over in Big Sky, Montana. We now have taken our boys to 40 states. Thank you for making our Idaho adventure special!
