Travel Director training equips them with enhanced hygiene and physical distancing procedures. During your trip, they will operate with a duty of care and monitor the hygiene etiquette of the guests, reacting and advising as needed, to ensure high standards are maintained. Before you travel, Insight Vacations will also keep you well informed about new protocols required in these areas, and ask that you cooperate with and heed the advice and direction of Travel Directors while on your trip. The Travel Directors have preventative measures in place to try and ensure your well-being and in the event that any unexpected issues arise on trip, they will activate additional protocols.

This super-focused tour embraces slow travel, hunkering down in New Mexicos capital for five nights. From your base at the luxurious Inn and Spa at Loretto, youll take a deep dive into Santa Fes thriving arts scene. Artist Georgia OKeeffe spent her twilight years in the city and her namesake museum is a standout. Day : Monument Valley

In the morning, head to Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park and board all-terrain vehicles with a Navajo guide for a tour of the valley floor, used as a backdrop for many Western films. Visit some of the legendary sites where these movies were made, as well as restricted areas with rock windows and arches of unique shapes and sizes.

Washington To New York City Discovery Intrepid

City slickers will love this eastern US tour, which knits together three of Americas most storied places: New York City, Philadelphia and Washington DC. The trip begins in DC with an after-dark tour that routes through the museum-and-monument-packed National Mall. Youll then make the trip to Arlington National Cemetery, resting place of JFK, and eventually to Philly, where guided walking tours focus on the citys African-American history. Insight Vacations Wonders of the American West May/June 2011

I made a quick visit to the canyonlands area in 1991 but have always wanted to go back. Insights Wonders of the American West was the most comprehensive tour of the area that I could find. It visited all the spots I wanted to see Moab, Arches, Monument Valley, Bryce Canyon, Zion Canyon, and of course, the Grand Canyon.

The current version of the same tour now starts and ends at Las Vegas and the stretch from Denver to Moab is no longer there. Among other tweaks to the tour, Bryce and Lake Powell are now a two night stops and the night at Monument Valley is no longer there. The changes are for the better.

Even after having visited almost sixty countries, I still consider the southern Utah region to be one of the most beautiful in the world. The landscape is spectacular.

Walking In Grand Canyon National Park Intrepid

While many escorted tours make an in-and-out stop, its well worth slowing down and spending some time in Grand Canyon National Park. And thats exactly what this five-day trekking trip is all about.
