Where Is The Best Place To Go In The Caribbean In January
I am planning on going away in January and I am wondering where the hottest spot in the caribeen is?

That time of year I would suggest going as far south as possible. Perhaps consider Barbados, Aruba or Antigua if you want to ensure hot weather. Travelling to Cuba or even IMO Punta Cana is “iffy” with regard to ocean temps that time of year. It’s not a chance I am willing to take. We have always experienced perfect weather in Barbados, Aruba, St. Martin, Antigua in February. We are booked to return to Antigua this February as a matter of fact.

Seychelles Tropical Paradise At A Premium Price
With the softest sand and the warmest ocean, the name alone makes is enough to relax your sense. This dreamy archipelago of 115 islands sits in the middle of the Indian Ocean, far off the East African coast.
Youve got a lot of options for choosing where to stay in Seychelles. Choose a base on Mahé, Praslin, and La Digue, and spend your days cruising around the smaller, uninhabited islands.
Given the location and just how utterly pristine Seychelles is, its a very expensive tropical destination for a vacation especially during December and January. Its definitely smarter to visit between May and September when temperatures are the most pleasant, and it rains less.
After all, you dont want to spend all those dollars to just sit in the rain.

Kauai Expensive Yes But Worth The Cost
You cant go wrong with visiting Hawaii no matter which of the states eight islands you choose as your destination. But if youre not sure where to start check out Kauai. Kauai is perhaps the prettiest of the islands, with drop-dead gorgeous natural sights and the beaches to match
Besides that, Kauai is also the most backpacker-friendly Hawaiian island. Its cheaper than the ultra swanky Maui and quieter than Big Island. Though there are still affordable villas in Kauai for those wanting a more traditional stay.
Its also the wettest of the islands, seeing short bursts of rain more or less every day of the year. However, its for that very reason the garden isle is so vividly green and gushing with waterfalls, such as the jaw-dropping Wall of Tears.
That being said, if youd rather see a backdrop of spewing lava, stick with Big Island. Its magma-nimous.
Niue Technically Its Not A Tropical Island
Not so much a tropical island, the minuscule island nation of Niue is technically a coral atoll. In fact, its one of the largest raised coral atolls on Earth .
Youve got rock pools in the north and rainforest in the southwest with secret tropical beaches connecting the two. Oh, and its so small you can hike across the length of the island in about five hours!
At present, Niue is only accessible from New Zealand, which does make it trickier to access. Its most popular with vacationing Kiwis , travellers backpacking in New Zealand, and other South Pacific islanders. But its way more chill than its neighbouring South Pacific islands, making it one of the top tropical islands in the vicinity for some R& R.

Aruba Curaao And Bonaire The Abc Islands
The average temperatures for Aruba, Curaçao, and Bonaire in January are 76° 86° with an average year-round temp of 82°. These islands also enjoy more sunny days than any other Caribbean Islands.
The average rainfall for each island is less than 1 in January.
The weather on these islands offers the ultimate in comfort. The radiant, consistent sun combined with the constantly blowing north-east trade winds temper the heat making for an amazingly comfortable climate.
All three islands are also outside the hurricane belt! This is awesome if you choose to travel during hurricane season .

Aruba is a relatively tiny island only 19.6 miles long and six miles across.
One of the greatest resources on this island is its people. Its said that the Arubans have a natural sense of hospitality. They even call their home one happy island. Who wouldnt want to go there?
Aruba is very ethnic rich, representing over 90 unique nationalities.
Arubans speak Dutch, Papiamento (a Spanish Creole language with admixtures of Portuguese and Dutch. Most Arubans also speak English & Spanish so no worries about communicating.
Same as many Caribbean Islands, Aruba is serious about their Carnival celebrations. In case you didnt know, Carnival is a pre-lenten tradition consisting of elaborately colored parades, masquerades, calypso music, dancing, and lively celebrations. Its a giant party!
Carnival celebration is a big deal to the islanders and they love to share it with visitors. Some of the celebrations take place in January, most of it in February all leading up to the big parade and burning of King Momo, the day before Ash Wednesday.
