Disney Releases New Artwork And Room Floor Plans For Disney Vacation Club Tower Coming To Disneyland Hotel
Disney has filed full details for the Disneyland Hotel Disney Vacation Club tower in a public document, which contains room floor plans and a new artist rendering of the L-shaped tower from Walnut Street.

- The City of Anaheim has that contains more details on Disneys plans to build a Disney Vacation Club tower at the Disneyland Hotel.
- The staff of the Planning and Building Department have approved these plans, which will go before the Planning Commission on Monday, July 20th.
- Among the highlights of the 1,605 page document is a new artist rendering of the tower as Guests will see it from Walnut Street.

Disneys Beach Club Villas feature three types of accommodations: Deluxe Studios, One-Bedroom, and Two-Bedroom Villas. All villas are designated as Standard View rooms overlooking the resorts garden courtyard area, Dunes Cove leisure pool, or a quiet wooded reserve.
Deluxe Studio
The Deluxe Studios at Disneys Beach Club Villas can accommodate up to five guests. Each room features a queen-size bed, double-size sleeper sofa, and a single pull-down trundle bed. The room also includes one bathroom, a small kitchenette area, and a private porch or balcony.

Although larger in size, a One-Bedroom Villa at Disneys Beach Club Resort is listed as only being able to sleep up to four adults. The Walt Disney World Resort has just added 200 gorgeous new villas to its growing number of Guest rooms and available accommodations in Central Florida.
Only days ago, Disney announced the opening of a new expansion of the Villas at Disneys Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The new addition encompasses 200 new rooms, offering Guests several choices in accommodations and floor plans.
The new expansion at Disneys Grand Floridian includes one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom villas which can sleep up to 12 adults. According to the Walt Disney World website, each villa offers a wide range of features and amenities, including:
- A fully-equipped kitchen, so you can prepare meals and snacks from the comfort of your villa
- Spacious living and dining areas where your family can share even more quality time together after you return from the parks
- that offer space, privacy, and tranquility so its easy to rest, relax and recharge your spirit after each exhilarating vacation day
- A washer and dryer, so you can pack lightly and always have fresh, clean clothes
The new villas also feature theming from everyones favorite practically perfect nanny.

Best Candidates For Dvc Membership
DVC membership might make sense if you meet most or all of these criteria:
- You have the cash in hand to pay all of the upfront costs of membership without borrowing.

Disney’s Beach Club Resort’s Rooms
Most of the Beach Club rooms are 381 square feet and have two queen-size beds, a daybed, and a desk and three chairs.
Each Disney’s Beach Club Resort room is furnished with the following:
- Two queen beds
- In-room safe
- Tiny bottle of H2O-brand shampoo, and bar soap
The mini-fridge is a dorm-style unit that sits under a counter or desk. It’s more like a beverage chiller than a refrigerator in that it’ll keep drinks cool, but you’re not going to freeze popsicles or make ice cubes in it.
Disney’s Beach Club Resort Room Layout
Beach Club’s bathrooms aren’t big, but they also aren’t as small as the ones you’ll find in Disney’s moderate or value resort rooms. Luckily you won’t feel claustrophobic in your room’s bathroom. Water pressure in the shower is average – probably less than what you get at home, but still enough to get your hair clean. Eventually.
A separate dressing area next to the bathroom includes two sinks, and enough counter space to fit most of the toiletries you would need. There are also two shelves under the sink that provide a small amount of storage. A 1500-watt, wall-mounted hair dryer is provided, but it’s not very powerful bring your own if you’ve got lots of hair.

Earlier this year we revealed plans that were submitted to Anaheim residents of new plans for a new Disney Vacation Club Tower coming to Disneyland Hotel. The artist renderings and blueprints were unveiled by Disney for a planned 350-room Disney Vacation Club time-share tower at the Disneyland Hotel. The plans show a tiered section with grand villa rooftop balconies, poolside garden units and an intriguing interactive water feature.
Earlier this week, room blueprints were also released showing the inside of each planned room. Included are floor plans for five different types of rooms in the 350 room tower, which includes a pod, studio, 1-bedroom lock-off, 2-bedroom, and both floors of a grand villa.

The Bay Lake Tower, like other Disney Vacation Club resorts has several different kinds of villas. In the Tower they are
- Studio a fairly standard Disney hotel room with a mini-fridge and microwave so it can be called a villa or suite. The room comes with one queen bed and a double sized sleeper sofa.
- One Bedroom the one bedroom villas say they sleep 4. They have a king bed a queen sleeper sofa and a sleeper chair. The room includes a full kitchen and a whirlpool tub.
- Dedicated Two Bedroom there are 2 different types of 2 bedroom villas. One is a dedicated 2 bedroom, which means it is always a 2 bedroom. It has a king sized bed, 2 queens a sleeper sofa and a sleeper chair and sleeps 9.
- Two Bedroom Lockoff the two bedroom lockoffs are combinations of a one bedroom and a studio. When you put the two together you have a two bedroom lockoff. - Grand Villa the Grand Villa is something special. It has over 2,000 square feet of space with 2 living areas, 3 bedrooms and 4, yes, count em 4 bathrooms. There is one king bed and 4 full queen beds. There are also 2 sleeper sofas . A total of 12 guests can sleep in the villa.
All Disney rooms allow and infant under 3 in a crib to stay in the room as an addition.

In early 2009, the new Kidani Village brought Vacation Homes where most of the rooms offer more spacious floor plans than those found in other Disney Vacation Club Resorts and all one-bedrooms will sleep up to five people. A brand-new full-service restaurant where you can enjoy savory meals. An additional savanna that you can view from your room. A feature pool and water play area fun for children, tots and teens.

Other Expenses And Benefits
Remember that the cost of accommodations is actually a small fraction of the overall cost of a vacation. Walt Disney World annual passes for a family of four cost over $5500 in 2021. Meals for a 10-day vacation can easily run $1800 or more for a family. Then you have to account for airfare , souvenirs, bottled water, extra ticketed events such as Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party, and so on.
DVC members do qualify for some discounts that may help with these additional vacation expenses . They are eligible for the Sorcerer Pass at Walt Disney World, which doesnt cover Christmas and Thanksgiving, but costs around $400 less per person, and they get get some restaurant and merchandise discounts . Also, the villas have full kitchens, which could help a bit with the costs, since some meals can be made in the unit.
DVC members and their guests may choose to purchase a Dining Plan when staying on points at a Walt Disney World DVC resort. The Dining Plans are available to the general public only as part of a vacation package, so this is a nice benefit for those DVC members who like the Disney Dining Plans.
Another DVC benefit: you dont pay extra when more than 2 adults are staying in one DVC unit. This is true whether you use your own points, rent points or pay cash. By contrast, the Disney resort hotels charge extra if you have more than 2 adults in a room. Depending on the ages of the people in your group, this may save you a bit.
Dining Options At Contemporary Resort
There are plenty of dining options available at Contemporary, including Quick Service locations, some of the most popular signature dining, like California Grill, and also coffee shops and lounges. Contempo Café also offers Mobile Ordering.

Shopping Recreation And Things To Do
Ship Shape Health Club is Beach Club’s fitness center and spa. It is open 24 hours a day but attendants are only available from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Massage, facial, and body treatment services are available.
Watercraft Rentals are available in Crescent Lake 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Kayaks, sailboats, pedal boats, and Sea Raycers can be rented. Prices vary.
Beach Club’s gift shop is Beach Club Marketplace. As you’d expect from a Disney gift shop, Everything Pop has a decent collection of souvenirs ranging from small trinkets such as keychains and pens, to embroidered jackets and Disney princess dresses. Prices for these items are about what you’d pay in the theme parks or Disney Springs.
Beach Club Marketplace also sells basic pharmacy items such as sunscreen, aspirin, allergy and cold medicine, baby diapers and formula, shampoo, and the like. And Beach Club Marketplace hasDisney-branded cookies, chocolate, coffee tins, and similar items, if that’s what you’re looking for. Prices for these items are considerably higher – about double – than what you’d probably payat home.
Walkers, joggers and runners can find a jogging trail Disney’s Beach Club Resort. It is a scenic 0.8-mile course around around Cresent Lake. Thanks to bridges over Cresent Lake guests are able to make a full circle while passing by the Yacht & Beach Club, BoardWalk Resort, and the Swan & Dolphin Resorts.
