From the swimming pigs tour we took in the Bahamas to the amazing jerk chicken in Jamaica to the awe-inspiring historical sites in Puerto Rico, our family has loved the time weve spent in the Caribbean. But frankly, for the full, Insta-worthy Caribbean experience, you have to go horseback riding on Grand Cayman. During our Grand Cayman family vacation, we had the opportunity to ride swimming horses and it was just as amazing as it sounds.
And heres a fun fact: there is more variety among the beaches than you might expect. Youll definitely find soft white sands and brilliant blue waters on a lot of Caribbean beaches, but the volcanic islands like St. Kitts and Nevis tend to have course, richly colored sand. All the beaches are beautiful, but depending on where your travels take you, you may be surprised by what you see.
Wyndham Reef Resort Cayman Islands
The only all-inclusive resort in Grand Cayman, the Wyndham Reef Resort is tucked away on Grand Caymans East End, which is less crowded than the islands Seven Mile Beach resort area. Here, the resort provides villas with fully equipped kitchens, living rooms and private balconies, all facing the Caribbean Sea. Atlantis: Paradise Island Bahamas
Atlantis has got the coolest kids club on the planet, Atlantis Kids Adventures complete with a wizard-ing room, life-sized dollhouse, state-of-the-art interactive game room, cooking classes for aspiring brownie bakers and a Lego room. Theres also the famous waterslides, water park and mile-long river ride. The resort has 14 themed lagoons loaded with kid magnets: sharks, mysterious moray eels and the Goliath grouper, which can grow up to eight feet long and weigh 800 pounds . A short distance from the resort, everyone can play with friendly dolphins and even give one a smooch at Dolphin Cay. In-room babysitting services are available for an additional cost. Atlantis isnt all-inclusive and its no secret that its not cheap. But you can drastically cut costs by staying at the nearby Comfort Suites, where your accommodations include a daily buffet breakfast and access to Atlantis. The rooms also have mini fridges you can stock with nearby grocery store fare.

The first option on my list of the best kid-friendly Caribbean resorts has to be the Atlantis, Paradise Island and there is no dearth of reasons for this.
In addition to the 11 swimming pools two exclusively for kids that the property has on the grounds, there is a 97-acre waterscape for parents who want to introduce the little ones to 250 different species of marine wildlife including sharks, stingrays and more that can be enjoyed as you walk along the grounds or eat at the on-site restaurants.
With a total of 23 non-smoking floors for accommodation and 35 yes, you heard that right restaurants, your stay and dining are bound to be enjoyable.
The parents will enjoy the enormous spa, as well as the exquisite French restaurant, but children under 6 are not allowed in the latter.
The property also has a well-equipped theater that plays some recently released films, which you can watch without paying extra!
